Thirty Years as an Electrician First

I spent thirty years as a licensed electrician before any of this. Ran my own electrical business for the last ten of those years, and picked up an engineering degree and a master's degree along the way, mostly because I like learning.

Starting Over From Zero

Real estate came next. Flips first, then buildings I held onto.

Then I went through a divorce and lost almost everything I'd built. Started over from zero.

Building With Other People's Money

Five years later, my wife Dorothy and I run Infinite Properties Inc together — 198 rental units, 12 buildings, in Brandon and Virden, Manitoba. Most of it bought with other people's money. Investors who trusted me with their capital before I had much of my own. Over time that's grown into more than $13 million raised from investor partners.
